UCC Holding received the “Energy Infrastructure Project of the Year” at the Construction Innovation Awards 2025 for its US $7 billion national power generation and energy infrastructure project in Syria.

Led by UCC Holding, through its subsidiary UCC Concessions Investment, in consortium with Power International USA, Kalyon Energy, and Cengiz Energy, the project encompasses:

  • Four high-efficiency combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plants totaling 4,000 MW

  • A 1,000 MW utility-scale solar power plant

Once operational, the project will play a vital role in strengthening grid reliability, restoring stable electricity supply, enabling essential public services, supporting industrial recovery, creating employment opportunities, and driving long-term sustainable development and energy resilience across the country.

The award was received by Mr. Sidhartha Tiku, Cluster Business Development Director, recognizing UCC Holding’s strategic leadership in delivering transformative, future-focused energy infrastructure across the region.
